When you request a log design, we will prepare a Branding Guide for you as well! Why a Branding Guide?
You may not be thinking about it at the start, but your logo is your unique ID to the world and you are going to need to use it for more than just your business card – signage, uniform, embroidery, screen printing, vehicle decals, vehicle wraps, billboards, postcards, etc. You will need artwork that will format well to all of these uses as well as be consistent, recognizable and legible. This means that your colors, font styles and layouts should all be documented for consistent use. Another graphic designer or artist will find this information extremely valuable if they have to edit or replicate something. Vector art will be included in the Branding Guide so it can be resized and reformatted infinitely without losing detail. We understand many individuals may hold their logo near and dear to their heart, we aren’t here to tell you that is wrong, but we will advise you on how to make it better.
These guides are here for reference only, we did not recommend either of these as the best option, however the client wanted to retain their original art which is the first (top) guide below. We posted them both here to show different views on a similar branding outcome.
